Dysfunction to Dynamic

It is all too familiar, dysfuction in families at all levels. We all got shit, and if you say you don't, it is probably worst than most.  Instead of replaying the negative experiences and focusing on who and what did you wrong, focus on what you learned, focus on what you do not want to continue as a family pattern. In each negative experience you will find the lesson and blessing, not always clear and easy, but it is there. My lessons were not clear to me until I accepted where and what I came from, I focused on the good values, strong will and independance I was taught. It was when I fully accepted that certain people were doing the best they knew how and it wasn't about me, but about them. I also  had to forgive everyone I felt had done me wrong and let it go. Yep, let it go! It was the first step to my personal freedom and the best thing I have ever done for myself.
